- 48 count buttery round crackers (such as Ritz)
- 6 slices thin-sliced deli ham (honey or Black Forest), quartered
- 6 slices Swiss or Provolone cheese, cut into 4 equal squares each
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds
Preparation Steps
- Preheat & Prep: Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Assemble Bases: Arrange 24 crackers flat side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Layer Fillings: Fold one quarter-piece of ham onto each cracker base, followed by one square of cheese. Top each sandwich with a second cracker, pressing down gently.
- Whisk the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Brush & Season: Generously brush the glaze over the top of each cracker sandwich. Sprinkle evenly with poppy seeds.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and the crackers are lightly browned.
- Serve: Allow to cool for 2–3 minutes before serving hot.
